Mobility app for Wiener Linien - combining route planning, real-time departures, tickets and sharing services in one app for all of Vienna.

The goal was to unite public transport and multimodal mobility services for a city of millions in a single app. Reliable real-time data, seamlessly integrated ticket purchasing and a very large, demanding user base had to interact precisely - while staying technologically up to date for more than eight years.

allaboutapps developed the native iOS and Android app for Wiener Linien, bringing together subway, tram and bus with bike sharing, car sharing and taxi in one seamless route planning experience. The solution includes real-time departures with disruption information, integrated ticket purchasing and the annual pass on the phone - for more than one million users. From workshops and digital strategy to the ongoing integration of new mobility services, the app has been continuously evolved in a long-standing partnership spanning more than eight years.
