What we're looking for

  • Solid proficiency in Go, or strong motivation to transition to Go after several years of professional experience with one of the following languages/frameworks: Node.js (TypeScript), Ruby (on Rails), Python (Django), Java (Spring/Play/Akka), Rust (Actix), Erlang/Elixir (Phoenix), C++
  • Professional experience in specifying RESTful JSON APIs (Swagger / OpenAPI) and Entity-Relationship Modeling (ERM)
  • Enthusiasm for modern technologies such as Docker and especially Kubernetes
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and a solid perspective on NoSQL
  • Awareness of security and data privacy (OAuth, TLS, personal data, GDPR)
  • Proactive, communicative, and responsible team player with the ability to independently tackle technical challenges
  • German and English language skills (or willingness to develop them)
